Typed out a nice three verse limerick about moms party and lost it.  Shall I try again?

I bought and sent out invitations
To all of her friends and relations
She got a new dress
And some new shoes I guess
For her 90th year celebration

At costco we ordered a cake
For 60 folks to partake
And lovely white lilies
To make the room frilly
And name tags to forestall mistakes

And then they started to come
Brother, sister, daughter and son
Grandkids, friends and cousins
They came by the dozens
Many miles were travelled by some

Mom thought she was in a dream
As loved ones started to stream
All around her they stood
Saying words kind and good
Paying profusely the highest esteem

The party was quite a success
Each person came in to profess
Their love for our mother
Give hugs to each other
Now I’ll stay home, convalesce.

Gratitude:

Michael and Richard fixing my financial situation with Stephanie

Had a great birthday party for mom.

I can rest.
